This Makita Gas Powered Vacuum Pail is built around a 7 gallon Steel Pail Filter Separator.
This is the most efficient Makita Gas Powered Vacuum available. This affordable steel lid filter design includes a Ridgid shop vacuum filter holder that uses standard Ridgid shop vacuum filters. In addition, the pail includes an efficient tangential filter separator inlet with a standard 2-1/2 inch vacuum hose adapter. The pail is made of high strength steel, is light weight, portable and very easy to use. This unit includes 8 feet of low loss 2-1/2 inch hose and is ready to go.
The 4-cycle Makita engine requires engine oil and gasoline to operate, however, it does not require a mixture of oil and gas like louder 2-cycle engines. This reliable engine will generate 230 CFM of air flow and will pull up to 15 inches of water vacuum. The lid with a gasket O-ring seal uses a Ricke clamp ring that provides a tight vacuum seal. The Makita Gasoline Powered Vacuum Pail includes a tangential side inlet for high efficiency separation.
The tangential side inlet port with 2-1/2 inch hose adapter provides low loss high efficiency particle separation that protects the filter and reduces filter cleaning.
Gas Powered Vacuum Tangential Inlet Port
As a result of good engineering, the Tangential inlet to this Gas Powered Vacuum provides high efficiency cyclonic separation that saves filter wear. Therefore, just hook your vacuum hose to the inlet and you have a powerful high efficiency vacuum. Because of the high efficiency inlet, this Gas Powered Vacuum can be used without the filter when the material is less dusty. This vacuum will easily clean dirt out of a 4-5 foot post hole.
The included low loss vacuum hose attaches to the tangential inlet port made for standard 2-1/2″ hose. This system includes 8 feet of commercial grade low loss vacuum hose with perfect fitting hard hose cuffs.
Phenolic Coating for moisture resistance
Our Gas Powered Vacuum Filter Pails include the best coating available for moisture resistance without going to expensive powder coating. The inside of this pail will provide good durability with normal usage.
