Firefighter Tool “Universal Handle”
The Firefighter Tool “Universal Handle” w/Quick Change Adapter is the only universal handle for attaching multiple use fire tools. As a result of the universal nature of this handle, the most common tool heads are now available. These make up the fire fighter tool system. As a result of extensive fire fighting experience and study, there primary tools were selected. These include the Shovel/McCloud Fire Tool “Troop Tool”, the “Magnum Pulaski”, and the “Dragon Swatter”. These three tool heads are the only hand tools firefighters require.
The firefighting tool system
The Firefighter Tool Universal Handle is centerpiece of the fire fighting tool system. Most noteworthy, weighing just 2.1 pounds, this specially engineered 37 -inch hickory wooden handle includes a high strength, aluminum alloy quick connect head with squared threads and a snap-lock fitting.
The Firefighter Tool “Universal Handle” advantages
The Firefighter Tool Universal Handle has some key advantages. First of all, this Universal Handle is 3-inches longer. In addition, this longer handle provides extended reach and reduces bending over when doing earth work. Even more, it is approximately two to three times the strength of a traditional Pulaski handle. The handle with its hardened-aluminum CNC-manufactured male fitting, is designed to lock into all Quick Connect tool heads. Fore this reason, the name “Universal Handle”. Furthermore, the alloy aluminum fitting is at the point where most axe handles break. As a result, this makes the handle one of the most durable handles available.
The tool head doesn’t slip off
Sooner or later, most tool heads slip off. Not so for the Universal Firefighter Tool Handle. The head adapter has thick, square threads and a locking roll pin. This prevents tool heads from loosening and sliding off the handle. As a result, this solves a common problem with conventional wildfire hand tools.
Secured with a locking pin
Even more important, the locking pin securely locks the tool heads in position. Due to the strong locking spring tension, each order includes a Hand Key, shown in the gallery. This key is for releasing the handle locking button. The key also includes a spare screw for the roll pin.
