Welcome to Cat 6 Tools, LLC home of the Holey-Moley Fence Post Hole Digger and vacuum equipment for digging holes and moving dirt.
If you are moving dirt or digging holes, Cat 6 Tools is the company with the newest innovations in vacuum assisted post hole digging equipment and for moving dirt.

“The Holey-Moley Fence Post Hole Digger is one of the most unique advancements in post hole digging in the last 100 years”
When it comes to moving dirt, the inventor, Titus Nelson a registered Professional Engineer knows what he is doing. His professional licenses include the states of California, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Colorado. In addition, he was registered in British Columbia, Canada. Ten years of his career includes digging tunnels and deep shaft mining for underground atomic testing. In addition, his experience includes large excavations for water and sewer projects.
Cat 6 Tools, LLC the Company
Cat 6 Tools, LLC was formed to sell tools for digging holes and moving dirt. These include Titus Nelson’s invention, the Vacuum Assisted Holey-Moley Fence Post Hole Digger. These tools are all helpful for homeowners, ranchers, and commercial businesses.
A word from Titus Nelson
Titus worked as a Professional in the Aerospace, Medical, and Semiconductor Industries his experience is rather unique. He has a broad understanding of many different tools and equipment
Titus Nelson also holds several patents including an automatic sandbag-filling machine capable of filling two sandbags a second. His latest patent is for the Vacuum Assisted Post Hole Digger.

About the Post Hole Digger
U.S. Patent No. 10,385,537 for the Vacuum-Assisted Hole Digger was issued on August 20, 2019. As a result this patent is the technological basis for the Holey-Moley Vacuum Assisted Post Hole Digger. Therefore, this unique patent covers the design of a very unique hole-digger. Finally this digger fits in-between cheap post hole diggers and expensive industrial drilling equipment. Consequently, a single person using the Holey-Moley Fence Post Hole Digger, can now dig straight, uniform holes to depths of 20 feet.
Extensive Engineering Design and Testing put Cat 6 Tools into the lead on vacuum assisted post hole digging and small vacuums for moving dirt.
As a result of extensive engineering design work, diameters up to 12-inches and depths exceeding 20-feet are achievable. Finally, the average person can dig holes to depths that far exceed that of the typical post hole digger.

The Core Digger
Also covered under the patent is the Holey-Moley Fence Post Core Digger.

The Digger Has Many Uses
The Digger has a number of uses including:
- Post Holes
- Pole Barn Holes
- Sign Holes
- Shallow Wells
- GeoThermal Wells
- Cache Tube Burial
- Construction Pilings
- Engineering Soil Sampling
- Landscaping & Post Holes
- Mining Core Sampling
How the Holey-Moley Fence Post Hole Digger Works
Due to its design, the Holey-Moley Digger has several unique properties. To begin with, it uses a standard shop vacuum. As a result it obtains super cyclonic wind speeds in the digger head. Secondly, the super cyclonic airflow velocities are under slight vacuum. Thus wind velocities in the digger head increase dramatically. Finally these high wind velocities transport dirt particles out of the hole. These holes are precision even in hard clay, compact soils with small rocks, sandy soils, and looms.

The Engineering Model
Fabrication of early PVC Pipe diggers was the foundation for extensive product testing. These models, even though heavy, were good at digging holes to depths of 20 feet and to diameters of 9 inches. Experience with these diggers led to the current digger designs that are lighter in weight making them easier to use and cheaper to ship.
Also improvements in digger design and vacuum systems greatly improved performance. The digger product line now includes 4″, 5″, and 6′ Post Hole Diggers and Core Diggers as well as Post Hole Reamers that will ream 6′ holes out to 8″, 10″ or 12″. While using and testing many shop vacuums in this process, we came to learn a lot about vacuum systems and how to improve their performance and to extend their life.

What You Need To Purchase
Due to its unique design, the Holey-Moley Diggers, by Cat 6 Tools LLC, include everything except a standard Shop Vacuum. As a result these vacuums are readily available at your local hardware store. One excellent vacuum the Ridgid WD19560 is discussed in our blog article and discussed in a comparison test article.

As a result of testing many shop vacuums several have met the challenge of the Holey-Moley Digger. In addition, shown here are 1) Ridgid WD19560, 2) Shop Vac Contractor Model 90L650A, 3) 3.0hp Shop Vac, 4) Dayton over 20 years old, 5) Keene Engine powered vacuum bucket.

As a result of the digger’s unique design, a standard shop vacuum with a 2-1/2 inch hose is now more than satisfactory for digging holes. After many months and hours of testing, the Post Hole Digger can now dig precision, smooth bored holes exceeding 20-feet deep. For more information see the blog article on Digging Straight Uniform Holes With A Shop Vacuum.

Additionally with the use of Post Hole Reamers, diameters up to 12 inches are possible.

Further information can be found on our blog for Selecting The Best Hole Digging Shop Vacuum, and for Digging Deep, Straight, Concentric Holes with a Shop-Vac.
When it comes to moving dirt Cat 6 Tools manufactures high quality tools.
The company now leads in Gasoline Powered Vacuum Drums and Gasoline Powered Vacuum Buckets.

When moving dirt with a shop vacuum it pays to have a filter bucket in front of a shop vac that can take the load with sand, gravel, dirt or slurries. These filter buckets are easy to handle and transport compared to the cumbersome task of moving a loaded shop vacuum.
