“The Holey-Moley Post Hole Digger is one of the most unique advancements in post hole digging in the last 100 years”
Welcome to Cat 6 Tools, LLC.

The inventor, Titus Nelson is a registered Professional Engineer in California. His professional licenses include the states of Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and Colorado. Ten years of his career includes deep shaft mining for underground atomic testing. In addition, his experience includes digging tunnels for water and sewer projects.
Cat 6 Tools, LLC was formed to sell tools that Titus Nelson is familiar with. These include his invention, the Holey-Moley Vacuum Assisted Post Hole Digger. In addition, Unique Gardening Tools, Fire Fighting Tools, and Mining Equipment have been included. These tools are all helpful for homeowners, ranchers, and commercial businesses.
A word from Titus Nelson
Titus also worked as a Smokejumper fighting fires for the Forest Service and BLM. His 7 year career includes the use of many firefighting tools.
Additionally, as a Professional in the Aerospace, Medical, and Semiconductor Industries his experience is rather unique. He has a broad understanding of many different tools and equipment
Titus Nelson also holds several patents. One is for an automatic sandbag-filling machine capable of filling two sandbags a second. His latest patent is for the Vacuum Assisted Post Hole Digger.

About the Post Hole Digger
U.S. Patent No. 10,385,537 for the Vacuum-Assisted Hole Digger was issued on August 20, 2019. This patent is the technological basis for the Holey-Moley Vacuum Assisted Post Hole Digger. As a result, this unique patent covers the design of a unique hole-digger. It fits in-between cheap post hole diggers and expensive industrial drilling equipment. Consequently, a single person using the Post Hole Digger, can now dig straight, uniform holes. Diameters up to 12-inches in diameter and depths exceeding 20-feet are achievable. As a result the average person can dig holes to depths that far exceed that of the typical post hole digger.

The Core Digger
Also covered under the patent is the Holey-Moley Core Digger.

The Digger Has Many Uses
The Digger has a number of uses including:
- Post Holes
- Pole Barn Holes
- Shallow Wells
- Cache Tube Burial
- Construction Pilings
- Engineering Soil Sampling
- Landscaping & Post Holes
- Mining Core Sampling
- GeoThermal Well Holes
How the Holey-Moley Digger Works
Due to its design, the Holey-Moley Digger has several unique properties. To begin with, it uses a standard shop vacuum. As a result it obtains super cyclonic wind speeds in the digger head. Secondly, the super cyclonic airflow velocities are under slight vacuum. Thus wind velocities in the digger head increase dramatically. Finally these high wind velocities transport dirt particles out of the hole. These holes are precision even in hard packed clay, compacted soils with small rocks, sandy soils, and looms.

The Engineering Model
Early diggers were fabricated of PVC Pipe. These models, even though heavy, were able to dig holes to depths of 20 feet and to diameters of 9 inches.

What You Need To Purchase
Due to its unique design, the Holey-Moley Diggers, by Cat 6 Tools LLC, include everything except a standard Shop Vacuum. As a result these vacuums are readily available at your local hardware store. One excellent vacuum the Ridgid WD19560 is discussed in our blog article and discussed in a comparison test article.

As a result of testing many shop vacuums were tested were successful digging holes with the Holey-Moley Digger. In addition, shown here are 1) Ridgid WD19560, 2) Shop Vac Contractor Model 90L650A, 3) 3.0hp Shop Vac, 4) Dayton over 20 years old, 5) Keene Engine powered vacuum bucket.

Due to the diggers unique design, a standard shop vacuum with a 2-1/2 inch hose is more than satisfactory for digging holes. Above all, the Post Hole Digger can dig precision, smooth bored holes exceeding 20-feet deep. For more information see the blog article on Digging Straight Uniform Holes With A Shop Vacuum.

Additionally with the use of Post Hole Reamers, diameters up to 12 inches are possible.
